Presenting a limited series of work, symbolising the potential to turn waste into art. Through experimental making and ceramic firing techniques, waste oyster shells from the Wright Bros. restaurants are repurposed as tools, glaze enhancers, textures, and mark-makers in this collection of hand-crafted ceramic planters and olla vessels.
Each piece strives to showcase the beauty of sustainable design, to tell a story of innovation, curiosity, and environmental consciousness towards our oceans and food waste industries. All works are available to buy through my website. For any pieces that have already been sold, I'm open to commissions.
All glazes applied have been sponsored by Mayco Colors.
