Sculptural centrepiece that can be used as a stand-alone piece or as a vase for fresh flowers.
A flecked stoneware clay body is covered in ribbons of clay that have been pressed with Bolon's distinctive woven vinyl floor texture. To simulate the warp and weft of the flooring texture, drips of bronze and charcoal glazes move across the clay ribbons. The clear transparent glaze of the base of the piece has turned turquoise green from copper wire being present in the kiln while firing.
