Sculptural centrepiece that can be used as a stand-alone piece or as a vase for fresh flowers.
Bolon's reels of vinyl yarns are intended to be reflected in this maquette, alongside the woven flooring’s warp and weft designs. Vertical lines of milky glaze cascade across horizontal clay yarns spun from slip (recycled liquid clay), all layered on top of a flecked stoneware clay structure. The melting green detail is then created by draping copper wire and Bolon yarns down the surface edge.
